Funny - I always wonder where this chainsaw obsession came from; from a tactical point of view they have barely more use than a blade weapon but generate noise above the level of supressed firearms while usually being heavier than both alternatives.

First off "cool" is a very subjective term.
Second I don't use/do things because I think they're cool. I don't play CS, which many a kiddie will tell you is cool; I don't like the Steyr AUG, despite being Austrian and many a kiddies swearing on a bunch of bibles (or whatever is used nowadays) that it's sub-zero cool; and I don't use drugs no matter how many drugged out hippies* say it's cool [although I might admit it sometimes might seem I'm on drugs  ].
Third I wasn't whining before, I just wondered where the chainsaw obsession came from - I bet from the same place the pump-action shotgun obsession came from..
On a sidenote I do think it looks cool - but the technician in my head screams it's useless. And I can't silence the technician in my head..
*Note: for some unplausible reason I've a cartmaneske dislike of hippes. I probably should make a mutator that replaces Nalis and Nali-cows with hippies

I can't, I'm Austrian. No matter what the news media tell you, our true nationwide accepted sport is complaining and whining.
Also the fuel tank on that chainsaw is too small to be of any use for a prolonged period of time - after a few zombies you'll have to refuel..
