And to think that one review actually states Arma2 runs better than Arma1. Saying the engine is much better optimized..
What Godly uber universe Jezus accelerated systems do these devs work on??
I tell you, releasing a game in this state, badly coded, unoptimized, so hardware and cpu demanding, unplayable and unenjoyable. It's a shame.
If not a sham! Cause it sure feels like they're screwing me out of a potentially good game.
Crazy ass BIS. |

Nice coop insertion. Could be us guys!
After two patches and trying the demo i'm more positive towards purchasing arma2 again. I'll probably get it pretty soon. |

I know it's a bit late, but I tried patch 1.02 today and it seems to improve the playability by quite a large margin for me. Framerate is now at a stable 60 (limited) when alone (i.e. I'm gonna be able to crank up graphics a bit, already increased resolution). Also when playing against AI it seemed to stay above 25 usually and drops don't seem to affect weapon handling anymore - I suppose because it's possible to turn off post-processing.
Guess I'll wait for another patch or until I get bored with Fallout 3 (whatever happens first) and give it a try then. _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

Are people playing ArmA2?
I bought it and got bored of SP very quickly.
If you're playing coop I might have another go. _________________

Waiting for patch 1.07ish before i try again. 1.03 is claimed to have brought performance increases, 1.04 seemed rather small. If you guys plan on a COOP session drop a line here though, if there's place for another guy - I'm a good bullet catch, just ask anyone who played COOP with me _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

Hmm, if I can find a good deal I may consider buying it, as long as that means playing with some INF nuts . But I'll only spend money on it if I am sure that I'll find decent people online. I am going to make a big financial effort in my new computer, and I don't want to waste money on a game I am not going to use |
