I take it as request then.
Done camos (* marks camos that were released already with black vest only):
- US Woodland (black* & camouflaged vest)
- US Concrete Jungle
- UK Woodland (black* & camouflaged vest)
- Flecktarn (black* & camouflaged vest)
- Green (black* & green vest)
- Gray
- Black (black* & green vest)
- Urban
- Urban Red
- Urban Yellow
- Urban Blue
- Russian OBG
Further camos I plan to have in the release:
- Cadpat
- Tigerstripe
- ACU
- Wuestentarn (german desert camo)
- Tri Color (US desert)
- Arctic (plain white and finnish digital)
Maybe:
- French Woodland (Peregrin complained about no French camo)
- Urban Dark Digital
- Slovak Digital Woodland
- Swedish Woodland
I urgely plan to release the pack by the weekend, so I have four intensive development days before me (I hope the weather will suck, lol).
Next finished camo, Concrete Jungle:

Just take your time - Tigerstripe, TriColor and Wüstentarn sound really good to me
Man, I really will have a problem deciding which one to use _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

Decide when you have them at hand.
Here we go. Not sure though, maybe it should be a tad bit darker? |

OH MY GOD
that's..
beautiful!
Not sure about my screen settings but the camo seems right to me darkness wise.
I guess my problems on deciding which to use first just vanished. _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

What about a compromise
From what it seems Desert Tiger Stripe uses the same pattern, only different colours. If so, than it is an easy one to make a desert version. |

While I welcome any new camo (especially if it's easy to do) I'd still go for jungle tiger stripe - I liked them in Apocalypse Now, plus I've read a few books on Airborne LLRPs and quite a few of them used tiger stripe too. It's just THE classic Viet-Nam Special Forces camo.
Desert tiger stripe still looks cool too - also I suppose Firebird might like it. _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

I have a request:
Since you are updating your camo textures can you please release a new psytextures pack with everything included and can you make it so it replaces the default infiltration textures and doesn't require a separate *.batch file to launch or a separate folder.
At this stage all servers use your texture pack and they are much better than the defaults, makes no sense to keep the defaults
(of course you can release another version that keeps the faults for people who want them) |

I just copy and paste my post from BUF:
Quote: | You mean that the original files are overwritten in the original location so that vanilla INF turns into Psytex INF? That would reduce the amount of files I guess, but also screw things up, so standard INF isn't accessible (whatfor you might ask, but I guess some servers still are oldschool [the one that isn't up all the time]).
Personally I don't care about vanilla INF, as I have all the camos in the UT/Psytex/Textures folder and everything System related is in the UT/System folder and I start Psytex with a modified launcher, which doesn't lose all the changes made to the game settings (like it was the case with the .bat launcher, all the changes had to be made in vanilla INF to carry over to Psytex).
I only made the textures, but the coder is Carpetsmoker, so if at all, he can answer your question, as I'm not the coder guy. I guess his answer will be "not necessary" or something like that. I don't know if that would be the right thing to do, depends on what other people think about it. |
Quote: | Well, I have more than 30 camos now (not every is new, some are variations of same camouflage, but different accessoires, for variety sake and other reasons). Few more to go.
Here the finished Tri Color desert camo: |
