Yes Carpet your assuming is right. Guest-flat is rent from the afternoon of friday the 12 september 2008, until 1PM on sunday the 14 september 2008. Crazy used the german notation.

Am I right if I suspect you only need that basement if a special car is running again? In that case you will need a gag and some fetters too. _________________

Am I the only person here who thinks the course of events is taking a vaguely unsettling turn? _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

If you have an external HDD or the option to connect the two PCs via network just copy the existing (and working) installation of UT/Inf to the new PC. Did this 3 times - after a fresh install failed for obscure reasons - and it always produced a nicely working (and alreday Mk-config-approved) Inf install.
Oh, and psystex doesn't install on Vista, you need to manually install it - which is fairly easy and explained on the thread. _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

You need to spank Carpet for that - and copying a few files on the right order isn't exactly rocket science, especially not when there's a detailed description of the proceeding.. _________________ "Anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing."

@ EGM: Seems like we'll get an intessting interactive Lan-party!
@ Snakeye: It's ok, you don't have to annoy carpet any longer - the basement is already booked for you

Some further informations about the location (see pix).
I'll order 4x towels and bedclothes for the guestflat. Anyway, everbody who travel by car should bring a sleepbag or so on.
What about switches and cables? Who can bring some?
And what about something to drink: Water, Coffee, Coke, Beer, Wodka...? I could buy some but I've to know what and how much...
I'm already collecting flyers from our pizza delivery services but I'm not sure wether this is enough or not... Any ideas or wishes?

what kind of switches and cables do you need ?
im bringing a power cable on a rolling system 4 connections +- 2100 watt max, a power protector with 6 connections, 3x 15 mtr long lan cables. a lan hub with 5 connections
and the mini airco units as said before (3 of them.)
some extra power cables 10 mtr ones and an extra power protector with 5 connections too
this lot cost me more than 200 euros, hope it works

it is also good to know what the maximum power usage is for the groups in use, we probably need to use more than one group, cause they usually have a maximum of 2000 watt per group or so.
this is the case in my house 3 levels with 2000 watt per level max
so watch out with microwaves/washing machines/refrigerators/freezers/computers in use at the same time or you will be facing a sudden blackout
